 Chandrika translated from the sanskrit is   'little moon'.   Chandrika classes are taught by Gen who originally trained as a dancer and later embraced the  world of yoga.  She   aims to create  'little worlds' where people  feel nourished and  revived along side developing physically, expressively and spiritually.   Gen believes in the transformative power of movement in both disciplines. 

CONTEMPORARY DANCE  is a fantastic physical practice making the body stronger, more supple and builds stamina.  Dance is also great for the soul,  giving you the opportunity to express yourself to a range of music.  The class is suitable for those with some dance experience of any style or familiar with dance-based exercise classes.   Gen teaches Cunningham/Limon based classes with emphasis on the use of breath, suspension and musicality.

 

 

YOGA  is great for everybody, whatever shape, size, age, level you are.   Gen's classes are designed to   develop strength, flexibility and  better alignment along with  making you feel calmer,  happier with yourself and  more connected.  The classes are  vinyasa hatha yoga where there is a emphasis on the use of breath and the flow of the body culminating in a beautiful seamless meditation.      Namaste.
